Patch Adams, MD

Patch Adams, internationally recognized activist, speaker, and author, is best known for the way he has brought healing to the world by "clowning" his way into the hearts of his patients.  Patch is the founder of The Gesundheit Institute, a non-profit healthcare organization that offers holistic medical care based on the belief that one cannot separate the health of the individual from the health of the family, the community, the society, and the world.
